Wavemakers is a nine-month professional development programme of the IMCS Network that connects early and mid-career professionals working in fisheries MCS, compliance and enforcement with each other and with experienced women leaders from across the global fisheries community.
Led by women and open to all, Wavemakers builds confidence, professional judgement and lasting connection across the global fisheries compliance community. It is not a training course — it is a structured, participant-shaped journey of growth, peer learning and professional support.
Many professionals working in fisheries MCS, compliance and enforcement carry significant responsibility, often in isolated or under-resourced environments. Many lack access to meaningful professional development, peer networks or the kind of trusted guidance that helps individuals grow. Wavemakers exists to change that.
We welcome expressions of interest from:
Navigators — early and mid-career professionals working in fisheries MCS, compliance and enforcement who are ready to reflect, connect and grow.
Guides — experienced women leaders from across the global fisheries community who are ready to share what they have learned and invest in others.
Those not yet sure — if Wavemakers sounds right for you but you are unsure which role fits, we want to hear from you too.
If this resonates, we would love to hear from you. Please complete the form below.
