IMCS Network accepting paper proposals for the fourth Global Fisheries Enforcement Training Workshop (GFETW)

The fourth GFETW conference will explore in depth the different aspects of combating IUU fishing ranging from monitoring, surveillance and inspection of fishing activities to enforcement of fishing legislation as well as cooperation between fisheries enforcement authorities. As previous editions the fourth GFETW focuses on the practical aspects of fisheries MCS and enforcement of fisheries legislation as well as the challenges of successful international cooperation between fisheries enforcement authorities.

Presentations may include show case examples of successful MCS and enforcement projects or case studies as well as possible new monitoring and surveillance technologies or new inspection methodologies based on risk analysis.

Maximum two page abstracts written in English will be accepted on a rolling basis until October 15, 2013.
