The 2026 GFETW will be held in partnership with Indonesia’s Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Bali, Indonesia, from Monday, 3 August to Friday, 7 August 2026.

With the theme From Commitment to Compliance: Delivering Global Goals through Collective Fisheries Action, this is not your ordinary workshop. Participants will work in small, diverse groups through immersive sessions, interactive engagement spaces, and facilitated discussions designed to foster trust, peer learning, and collaboration.
