Abstract
This report discusses five target jurisdictions to enhance the understanding of legal regimes that support the use of e-data. These case studies outline national approaches to e-data collection and its application in fisheries governance, with a particular focus on their role in administrative and judicial proceedings aimed at combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing (IUU fishing).
From these collected experiences, the report provides an overview of current institutional and legal arrangements, as well as practices relevant to the use of e-data as evidence in infringement cases.
