The Transshipment theme was introduced by Mark Young, Executive Director, IMCS Network. This session provided the opportunity to consider the new FAO Voluntary Guidelines for Transshipment and included two presentations that highlighted the difference in transshipment risks across different regions. The presentations were followed by a panel discussion that considered the guidelines along with transshipment risks, and processes to ensure effective management of these risks.
