Led by senior women leaders in fisheries (Guides), Wavemakers is a global professional development initiative open to all professionals (Navigators) in fisheries MCS, compliance and enforcement. It is not a fixed curriculum or a symbolic gesture.
Wavemakers is a structured but flexible 9-month journey of growth, connection and learning. It brings emerging professionals together with experienced women leaders. The programme creates space for reflection, honest conversation and shared learning across regions.
Many early and mid-career professionals, particularly those from marginalised regions and groups, still lack access to the support needed to advance. Wavemakers exists to change that.
