Rotten Fish: A Guide on Addressing Corruption in the Fisheries Sector, 2026 - builds on more than five years of implementation experience, reflecting the challenges and lessons learned; the emerging trends influencing the fisheries sector; and the sector’s vulnerability to corruption.
Drawing upon multiple sources, experts, national fisheries authorities, academic research, and reviews of material published in popular press, this guide has two main objectives: To provide practical tools for decision-makers, and to raise awareness of the impact of corruption on the fisheries sector and on society at large.
